About the Author

Janice De Ruiter Eskridge, M..F.A:  My degree in creative writing and literature is from Mills College in Oakland, California.  I was a poet-teacher with California Poets in the Schools from 1991 to 2004.  Each poet with California Poets in the Schools must be published and trained.  This organization has strict criteria that must be observed for the poet working under their umbrella.  It was my joy to push reluctant writers into sharing their worlds through poetry.
