In a Drought, the Sky Still Sings-Word Chords 2014

freewaysunsetjustsky

Clouds swirl

             across   the sky

             push      sunlight

            down.     The dark

clouds swarm

                                                         bees                of a twilight sky.

                                         Clear blue       deepens

                                                   leaves              pockets of not

                                  clouds                            to disappear

                                                          silent               ghosts of twilight

                                                           whispering      to rain filled clouds

                                                   a wistful song             of need.
