of stamen
carpel corolla
orbits the stalk
male seeks
female
the calyx cradles
it all petals
expand with life
I ignore all
that correct
nomenclature
marvel that
there in bloom
galaxies give birth
mysteries pull me in
I expand inside the flower
forget what I meant
